Thomas von Nordheim - A Three Day Personal Project Workshop / Clinic

I am thrilled to be hosting Thomas Von Nordheim - Bespoke Tailor, Haute Couturier, Costume Maker, Author, Lecturer, and Teacher to Papermaple Studio again.

His unique expertise and skills attract diverse commissions from discerning private clients worldwide. He also creates costumes for television, movies, the ballet, theatre and the opera which includes several productions for the Met Opera NYC

This workshop is a wonderful introduction into tailoring, construction, and hand-finishing techniques.

The three days are an open workshop, where participants can choose how to use their time with Thomas's expert help.

This might be a smaller project such as tailoring a skirt, or finishing a jacket.  

It could also be used as a clinic where several garments are bought to be completed or details finished.   This could be fitting toiles or garments, or focusing on techniques such as a troubleshooting sleeves, or learning how to make a particular pocket.

Help with designing, drafting or changing patterns can also be offered.
